Having attended a close family funeral we needed a place to stay with our adult teenage daughter. The instant coffee sachets were dreadful, the shower was little more than drizzle (we mentioned this at reception but were told its a feature of the hotel) and the parking charge was rather high (£12 for overnight and then a further £1.30 per hour after that). Fabulous location, spacious room , would've given five stars but the breakfast was poor quality only had it first morning out of three. I stay away most weeks with work in big corporate hotels & my husband chose this hotel for a change. Breakfast was nice but for £10 I might recommend having a walk into town to try out some of the local cafes nearby. The hotel was extremely good value and will be my first port of call when I return to Harrogate. We parked in the Tower Street car park which does a night rate from 4 pm and it was just a 5 minute walk on the flat to the hotel. We also enjoy dining in Scran restaurant part of the hotel.
